Shri Vineet Joshi, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Education, has been appointed as Chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) .Shri Joshi, a 1992-batch IAS officer had previously also served as the CBSE Chairman. Currently, he is the Director General of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and also look after the Institutes of Eminence (IoE), and Higher Education Funding Agency (HEFA), among other verticals of higher education. Shri. Vineet Joshi holds B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. Having numerous training modules and research papers to his credit, the new Chairman is credited with an extensive experience and professionalism.
